Run For The Co-op Board!
Co-op election season is almost here!
Each year, three seats out of the nine total are up for election/re-election.
Voting for the Board Election will begin in February and extend up until the Annual Meeting in March.
The deadline for submitting a notice of intent to run and
a candidate statement to get on the ballot is February 11th.
What does it look like to be on the board?
Board members support the mission and long-term strategic goals of the co-op. To accomplish this
important work, Board members serve on various committees to engage with the Co-op membership,
determine and monitor the Co-op’s strategic direction, and plan for the development and deepening of
our cooperative in service to our community.
Other perks of serving on the Co-op Board include: hanging out with awesome community members,
great snacks at meetings and retreats (when meeting in person), saving money with the Board discount,
and opportunities for professional development. This is a great opportunity to get involved and contribute
your unique talents and voice to the future of our co-op!

“Serving on the co-op board, while a serious responsibility, has been a real adventure! The pandemic over the last 2 years was met with grace, strength and creativity by our management and board. It showed me how our love for our community and team effort can prevail in the most remarkable of circumstances. We are committed!”
-Sue Bauer, Board Vice President, Board Development Committee
