The purpose of the Orcas Food Co-op is to increase local food production and enhance our islands’ community food network by selling high-quality, local, and organic, non-GMO food and other household goods at the lowest feasible cost, and by educating customers and connecting them to helpful resources. In the coming five years, our aim is to continue strengthening our Co-op and building community resilience. The Board of Directors is made up of a group of qualified owner-members who are willing to volunteer their time and varied expertise to support the mission and long-term strategic goals of the Co-op. We strive for diversity of all kinds on the Board, to ensure it represents the uniqueness of our island community.
